Grip and comfort is a staple in all of Giro’s cycling gloves. However, the design and special features we include in our products vary depending on the terrain and riding style you intend to use them on.

• Road Cycling Gloves: Gloves such as the Giro Jag and Supernatural are built for smooth surfaces and long distances. Created with thin padding and lightweight materials, they are designed to offer an excellent bar feel and reduce hand fatigue. Our road gloves are ideal to minimise pressure on extended rides, where precision and comfort are a must.
• MTB Gloves: Our selection of MTB gloves are designed for rugged trails, which is why their specific features are focused on durability and impact protection. They include features like reinforced fingertips, thicker padding, and materials that withstand rough handling. Flexible and breathable at the same time, they allow riders to keep a strong grip and control when navigating challenging terrains.

In order to always be at the forefront of cycling performance, we incorporate innovative technologies into our gloves.

1. Super Fit Engineering
   This technology, found in most of our bike gloves like the Jag, the DND, and the Supernatural, is a proprietary design process that optimises the fit and shape of the glove to match the natural shape of the hand. This reduces bunching and discomfort, and enhances grip and performance.
2. Three-Piece Palm Construction
   This construction method tailors the palm to move naturally, allowing each section to flex independently. The three-piece palm construction ensures natural hand articulation without compromising bar feel, which is why it’s incorporated in both cycling gloves for both road and MTB.
3. Flex Zones
   Unique to the DND glove, Flex Zones are integrated into the glove’s design to mimic hand movements, ensuring flexibility without binding. This is especially useful for mountain bike riders who need agile control and quick hand adjustments on technical trails.
4. Touchscreen Technology
   Available in select Giro cycling gloves, this feature integrates conductive fibres into the fingertips, allowing riders to use smartphones and GPS devices without removing their gloves.
5. Supernatural 3D Palm Technology
   Exclusive to the Supernatural glove, this feature uses Elastic Interface® Palm Technology—a multi-density foam moulded into a three-dimensional palm shape. This design contours perfectly to the hand’s shape, distributing pressure evenly and providing superior comfort. It’s ideal for road cyclists who prioritise bar feel and long-ride comfort.
6. Reflective Details
   The Supernatural glove also includes reflective details, enhancing visibility in low-light conditions, a crucial safety feature for road cyclists riding at dawn or dusk.
7. Durability for MTB
   The DND glove, designed for rugged trails, features reinforced fingertips and 4-way stretch breathable mesh. It’s built for longevity, offering both durability and comfort. 2mm EVA crash pads provide impact protection for technical descents and rough terrains, cushioning the hands from shocks and vibrations.

Women’s-Specific Options

Giro also offers bike gloves specifically tailored for women, such as the Tessa II Gel. This model features a Renew Series™ Recycled AX Suede® palm and a moisture-wicking backhand for sustainable performance. The 3mm gel padding ensures added comfort for rougher rides, making it a versatile choice for female cyclists.
