The versatile Ledge™ SL Mips® is the ultimate slalom, park, and all-mountain helmet thanks to its removeable chinbar, designed to protect against gate impacts if you need it (or if you don't).
The Ledge SL Mips® shows its edge when the chinbar is installed by protecting racers against gate impacts and against angled impact thanks to Mips®, the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. For the off days, remove the chinbar and you have fully functioning everyday helmet for cruising, park riding and freeriding.
- INTEGRATED MIPS® BRAIN PROTECTION SYSTEM — All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro's Integrated Mips®-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces while enhancing fit and comfort by combining the Mips slip plane with the helmet's adjustable fit system. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to rider's brain in certain impacts.
